Not useful for advanced user.
Not intended for the advanced user.
Perhaps.
Next time however, do it with uTorrent, since BitComet is automatically blocked by many clients due to some cheating on its part.
Very cool Michelle… I’m going to implement this too!
It’s really not important. The goal is to get it seeded a few times and then let the network do the rest. If BitComet is blocked by some clients, some of the other seeders will use a client that is not. I mean, we could go into detail for weeks on this… But that wasn’t the goal of this video, nor is it really time vs. results efficient to do so.
Thanks i’m new to this torrent stuff
It’s a shame that the RIAA/MPAA have demonized BitTorrent systems as being only useful for copyright infringement.
.
Just like when Napster started, it was created substantially to provide a venue for artists without huge record companies behind them to distribute their music.
Users are kinda afraid of Zipped files as they are not straight forward and can have viruses. Always ask for comments when posting a torrent too.
i use uTorrent instead because BitComet has too many banner ads that advertize sleazy dating sites and crap..anyway, when i had bitCommet, it had banner ads, it may have changed by now…uTorrent is nicer and faster too and i use it all the time
BitComet sucks dick.

Thank you

Exactly how does this build website traffic when the file is located on your computer?
