Does anyone have great banana bread recipe?

1

I used to make a terrific banana bread but I lost my recipe. It came with an Oster bread maker Model # 5838. If anyone can give me that recipe it would be great. If not can you give me your banana bread recipes? Thanks in advance for the help!

This is by far my favorite banana bread recipe, but it’s not for a bread maker — sorry.

Banana Nut Bread
2 ½ cups sugar
1 cup shortening
3 eggs
1 ½ cups banana, mashed
3 cups all purpose white flour
1 ¼ cups buttermilk
1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup pecans, chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare 10" Bundt Pan by greasing and flouring well.

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Mix in bananas, buttermilk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients, then stir in nuts. Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake for 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted close to center come out clean. Allow to cool 10 minutes in pan, invert onto cooling rack and cool completely.
