DAK Auto Bakery – White Cinnamon Raisin Bread – FAILURE

7

You can’t win them all, this recipe ended up coming out with a big ball of dough in the middle. I tried it again and had a much smaller part be doughy. I’ll do another video when I figure out the right sugar/salt/yeast balance.

This person is articulate and informative. I just wish he would of cleaned his kitchen. It was distracting and disgusting. Thanks for the info though.

I used this same recipe which I got from Betty Crocker. I tried it twice today with our Dak Turbo bread machine 2. And both times the yeast did not rise. I think I might look for a different recipe. Grrrr, I’m mad at my machine!

DAK recommends yeast in first to the side of the pan. This has never failed to work for me….I have made some pretty “hefty” breads with my Turbo Baker II….I was surprised to see you load in the yeast that way….

I have the recipe book and it does recommend putting yeast in first then flour then other dry ingredients then liquid ingredients last.
